Glass Pool Fencing Sydney
Suntek – Sydney’s Preferred Pool Fencing Suppliers
As Sydney leading fencing supplier for nearly 5 years, Suntek offer a variety of quality pool fencing options that are compliant with current NSW Pool Fencing Regulations. From frameless and semi-frameless pool fencing to custom designed glass options, Profenz will meet your requests as well as the necessary regulations without blocking the view of your pool.
In addition, our glass pool fencing range is manufactured to be totally rust proof, giving your fence the elegant touch to blend into the background. We also offer glass pool gates to match your style of fencing. These options aren’t just ideal for a pool fence – they’re also great for your veranda or balcony, allowing you to enjoy the full view in safety and style.
If you’re concerned about keeping the glass panels clean, we can apply an ‘easy clean’ coating that makes your fence so easy to clean that you’ll barely notice it’s there! Alternatively, we also offer tubular steel or aluminium pool fencing if that’s your preference.
Frameless glass pool fencing
The frameless glass fencing option has 12mm glass panels mounted into ground fixed stirrups, providing an exclusive and unobstructed vista with excellent durability.
Semi-frameless glass pool fencing
The cheaper semi-frameless glass fencing option has 8mm glass panels fitted between special slotted aluminium posts which can be powder-coated in your choice of colour. The thickness of the tubing used in our aluminium posts is a lot thicker than cheaper imported products used by other Perth fencing companies. By doing this, our customers can be assured that our aluminium fencing is strong enough and will always pass pool fencing regulations.
Australia
Starting from 2010 all states and territories in Australia are in various stages of reviewing their swimming pool fencing laws, requiring swimming pools to be registered with a state body and the implementation of a timed swimming pool barrier inspection program. All swimming pool barrier fencing must comply with Australian Standard for Swimming Pool Fencing (AS1936).. Although some states and territories have particular laws and regulations, there are some stipulations that need to be abided by right across the nation. These include ensuring the pool fencing is 1200mm high, with a gap of 100mm or less at the bottom or between the panels. There should be no climbable objects within a metre of the pool fencing, and gates should be built so that they swing away from the pool, with a child safety lock.
Glass & Aluminium Fencing for Homes & Businesses
Suntek are leading specialists in aluminium and Glass Pool fencing for Sydney homes and businesses.
Glass Pool Fencing
Glass Pool fencing is particularly useful because, based on the NSW Pool Safety regulations, pool fencing must be built close to the edge of the pool and must surround the whole perimeter. This means that if your kids are in the pool surrounded by metal or timber fencing you wouldn’t be able to see them through the kitchen window or from your outdoor seating area. However, glass pool fencing does give you this option while still remaining compliant to safety standards.
The most popular form of Frameless Glass Fencing is our Spigot range. 12mm Glass held in place by a 316 marine grade Stainless Steel Clamping system that gives you a clear, unobstructed but strong partition between you and your view. However, maintaining your view isn't the only priority. The clamping system has undergone comprehensive testing in Australia & Europe and all Toughened Safety Glass used complies with the strict Australian Safety Codes for Pool Fencing. This frameless glass system we call " Spigot Glass" can be installed into a tiled surface as well as onto a timber deck. There are certain requirements that allow the spigots to be attached in a safe and secure way and our sales staff will be more than happy to talk you through the details. The spigots can be "cored" into the concrete/tiles or provided with a flanged design that is bolted to your deck or verandah. Our team of installers are fully qualified for a quick and competent installation process and deal with all the difficulties that can arise with a complicated site.

Aluminium Pool fencing
Aluminium Pool Fences are rarely affected by corrosion, making them ideal for all locations without the need for special protective coatings. Although, as a less dense material, aluminium fences are less robust than steel alternatives. Recently, with the rising cost of steel, aluminium fencing has become cheaper than steel, making this product a very popular choice.
If tubular fencing isn’t your preferred style, we also offer other styles – check out our aluminium slat, panel, picket and woodlike Powder Coating fencing options! Not only are we leading aluminium fencing suppliers, but we also offer a full installation service.
Why Suntek ’ aluminium fencing beats competitors’
- For our aluminum fencing and gates, we use high-quality aluminum. A swimming pool fence is a type of fence placed around swimming pools, to create a passive barrier to restrict the access of small children, 0–5 years to the swimming pool. Swimming pool fences must have a self-closing and self-latching gate/s to be compliant to most countries' laws and codes.
Swimming pool fences are designed so that young children cannot climb over them or go through them. They are manufactured to strict standards to be sturdy, durable and non-climbable.
Most countries design, manufacture and install swimming pool fences to the International Code Councils (ICC) guidelines.

Frameless Glass Fencing
Frameless glass fencing is constructed using 1/2″ tempered glass panels held in place by small stainless steel posts. The glass panels are immensely strong and are manufactured to order in almost any size and shape. The maximum width for a two post panel is 78″.
The #316 polished stainless steel posts are attached to the glass fence panels prior to installation and then set into the patio using a core drill and bedding cement. There are no visible screws, nuts, or bolts, and they are maintenance-free.

Gates can be installed as required. They are normally 36″ wide, self closing with latches on the inside. The gates have dampened hinges and do not slam.
